Mt Everest is the world highest summit at 8848 m. However, there are 13 other eight-thousanders on earth and many of which are technically more challenging than Mt Everest. Below is the list of Singaporeans and PR who have reached the summit of eight-thousanders.

    Lien Choong Luen summitted K2 in 2014 with sherpa Jamling Bhote.

    Thank you. I’ve also noted that Khoo and Edwin were PR at time of summiting Cho Oyu (Khoo) and Everest (Khoo and Edwin).

    Good list.
    A minor correction: I believe Edwin Siew summitted Everest a short time before Khoo Swee Chow.
    If you include PR, then you should also mention Stefen Chow E Fung who was also with the NUS team and summitted Cho Oyu in 2004 and Everest in 2005.
